You can receive a $500.00 tax credit from the IRS if you use certin items on your house.

1. A white or light color shingle
2. A metal roof. Most color qualify.
3. Attic insulation. You need a certin amount. 

Tax Credit Information

As of 2011 the tax credit is limited to $500.00 dollars per item. On certin color shingls you can get a tax credit of $500.00. Most metal roofs have a paint finish that will qualify for the $500.00 tax credit. Attic insulation qualifies for the tax credit of $500.00 and if you have the attic insulation installed the same time we install the roof you can save a good bit of money on the install,  because we will go in from the top side when the roof is removed.
